What is it?: An Acoustic Open Mic' Night.

 

This is an Acoustic Open Mic' Night using the absolute minimum of P.A. Just one big microphone! Please don't ask to plug in as refusal often offends. First started by Guy Rogers and Dan Norton of Salmagundi in an attempt to encourage more bluegrassy type music in the area. As Dan's moved away from the area it's just Guy now.

 

Now in it's sixth year the night is going from strength to strength and has played host to musician's of almost every kind. From amateur to professional, from guitarist's to autoharp players and even harp and clarinet combos.

 

We still like to encourage bluegrass and americana and we do jam whenever possible but we're open to any kind of music as long as it's acoustic.
