North West Leicestershire's first All Day Bluegrass Event. It is the Appleby Bluegrass Day. The event is to be held on August 30th 2010, August Bank Holiday Monday. The event will be held at the fabulous Sir John Moore Foundation in Appleby Magna. www.sirjohnmoore.org.uk.

There will be beginner / intermediate workshops in guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle, followed by a slow jam to allow everyone a chance to air their new found skills and an evening concert with some great British bluegrass bands. There will be an all day bar and those just wishing to form their own jam sessions will be welcome to pick in the wonderful cellar bar or out on the foundations extensive lawns. More details will be available as soon as they become available.

I can now confirm that the Workshops will be £12, the Evening Concert £10 or £20 for both the Workshop & Evening Concert. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
